March has been a busy month already and another busy weekend for Team CMMA with multiple fights. This time with both local and international events!

Starting off the weekend Javi Garcia traveled to London for a title fight in Cage Warriors and put on a great fight! Unfortunately, the fight was stopped after an accidental headbutt where the champion chose not to continue resulting in a loss for Javi. The momentum was definitely in his favor if the fight were to continue. 

Also in London, UFC Fight Night took place and Chris “Taco” Padilla won by split decision and improved his record to 3-0 in the UFC. Taco is rising through the ranks with this win and we are confident he will be a championship contender in the near future. 

Back in California, CMMA also had fighters in LXF 23 in Long Beach, California! Drake Flores had a great back and forth fight that ended in a split draw while Jeungjoo Choi put on a dominant performance with a unanimous decision victory.

The CMMA team is always prepared for battle and will showcase their skills anywhere in the world against the very best! It’s amazing what we were able to accomplish in one weekend in multiple cities and events.

Back at the gym, coaches are preparing for some well deserved promotions for both their kids and adults Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Programs this week as well as Spar Star in Commerce, CA on March 30th.
