Victor Henry Gets Back in the Win Column with a Gritty Victory at UFC Vegas 105

Victor “La Mangosta” Henry reminded fans and fighters alike why he’s one of the toughest fighters in the bantamweight division, bouncing back from a tough loss last year to earn a hard-fought decision win over Pedro Falcão at UFC Vegas 105.

From the opening bell, Henry came out sharp, mixing his strikes with confidence and urgency. He landed a clean shot in the first round that sent Falcão to the canvas, a clear statement that he wasn’t there to coast. But this wasn’t a walk in the park. Falcão responded with intensity, making the second round a back-and-forth battle that tested Henry’s composure.

Where many fighters might have faded, Henry dug deep. At 37 years old, he showed the kind of grit that doesn’t get built in a training camp. Years of experience and cage time came into play as he took control in the third round, pushing the pace and landing the cleaner, more damaging shots. When the final horn sounded, there was little doubt and the judges saw it the same way, all scoring the bout 29-28 in Henry’s favor for a unanimous decision.

The win marks an important rebound for Henry after a rough outing against Charles Jourdain last November. While that fight ended in disappointment, this performance showed he’s not going anywhere. With the victory, he improves to 4-2 in the UFC and 25-7 (1 NC) as a professional fighter, re-establishing his presence in a division that’s always stacked with talent.
